Update utilities, vehicles (DGT), and the property registry
Why it matters
Supply contracts, car ownership (DGT), and the Registro de la Propiedad must be transferred or cancelled once heirs are settled.
How to do it
- Change or cancel electricity, water, gas, internet contracts.
- Transfer vehicles at the DGT (within the inheritance) or notify of scrappage.
- Once inheritance is accepted, register inherited property at the Registro de la Propiedad.
