Final pay, a workplace pension, life insurance "death in service", or owed holiday may be due to the estate — and HR can stop ongoing deductions.
How to do it
- Contact HR or their manager.
- Ask specifically about: death-in-service life cover, final salary, owed holiday, and any workplace pension.
- Request anything they need in writing.
